Peter F. Breheny obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Columbia University in 1983. He received his law degree from Fordham University School of Law in 1987. Peter was previously a partner in a Manhattan defense firm where he practiced for thirteen years, nine of which he was a partner. As one of the partners in CARMAN, CALLAHAN & INGHAM, LLP’s Litigation Group, he is responsible for supervising the litigation team, as well as coordinating the administrative, management and training duties in the firm. He has handled all areas and phases of insurance defense litigation, including trials in architect’s malpractice claims, Labor Law disputes, and other complex personal injury suits. Mr. Breheny has also prepared a number of appellate briefs and has argued before the Appellate Division/First Department. In addition, he has worked closely with carriers, defending claims and presenting seminars on topics, including the Labor Law and New York practice and procedure. Mr. Breheny is admitted to practice in the State of New York and the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York.
