Stephanie L. Boden is a graduate of the State University of New York at Albany and obtained her law degree from St. John's University School of Law, where she was the recipient of the International Academy of Trial Lawyers' Award. Stephanie joined the firm in 1996 and became a partner in 2003. Since joining the firm, Stephanie has focused her practice on defending policyholders in personal injury suits and investigating claims from loss date to closure in order to verify the scope and nature of the suit. She has also developed an expertise in handling Uninsured Motorist claims. Stephanie has a particular expertise in the Appellate Courts' application of the Insurance Law as it relates to automobile claims where there is insufficient proof of a "serious injury" in an automobile case, and has presented seminars on this issue to clients. She has successfully argued in the Appellate Division/Second Department the issues relating to the statutory enactment of the "serious injury" categories and their impact on particular cases. Stephanie is also a member of the State Bars of New York and New Jersey, as well as the United States Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York.
