Jami C. Amarasinghe is a graduate of the State University of New York at Albany and received her law degree from Syracuse University College of Law. Prior to joining the firm, Jami worked in a prominent Plaintiff and Criminal Defense firm, focusing on criminal defense, matrimonial litigation, and real estate transactions. Jami joined CARMAN, CALLAHAN & INGHAM, LLP, where she works on a wide range of cases with a particular focus on liability claims stemming from automobile accidents, homeowner and auto property damage, Additional Personal Injury Protection claims and Personal Injury Protection Loss Transfer claims. She also routinely represents companies in claims seeking to recover medical payments that have been commenced in State Court and in the American Arbitration Association. She offers our clients extensive experience interpreting New York's Insurance Regulations and Insurance law. Jami has trial experience at the State Court level, and she also routinely defends matters at arbitration and mediation. She is admitted to practice in New York, the United States District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York, as well as New Jersey. |
